What might we discover if we follow the lead of those who reach for the ground through crutches, or feel through wheels that trace the terrain like a trickle of water?

Join acclaimed performer and disabled choreographer Claire Cunningham to explore the ways in which different bodies and physicalities encounter the world, and what can be learned from Crip and disabled expertise. Using themes from Cunningham’s audio work Source//Ground, created with Prof Julia Watts Belser as part of their audio series We Run Like Rivers, participants share their own ways of navigating the world and how this is affected by their bodies and lived experiences.

This workshop is open to anyone, with or without dance experience or disabilities. The audio work Source//Ground, and transcripts in English and Cantonese will be sent to participants in advance.

Online registration will start from January 2025, please visit the website for updates.
